Q: How do I turn off the sound effects for ActivIcons?

• In version 2.1, go to the the System Control screen and click on the Desktop Icons button. At the bottom/right corner of the window, click on the Speaker icon to turn off the sounds. In ActivIcons 3.x versions, the speaker icon appears at the lower-right corner of every screen. When the icon is black or dimmed, the sounds are Off; when the icon is the normal yellow color, the sounds are On.
