Upgrading FileWrangler, SecurDesk!
or getting a replacement CD for other products
FileWrangler and SecurDesk! products are not distributed with an on-line upgrade, as they contain encryption methods which are legally restricted in some areas. You can, however, have the latest version sent to you on CD.
Users of other CursorArts products may also obtain incremental updates (e.g., from version 4.1 to version 4.5) via this method. If there has been a major version upgrade (e.g., version 4.1 to version 5.0), then you should ask our Sales Department whether the CD will work with your existing serial number. Major version upgrades may require an upgrade fee and new serial number, so it is best to first check with us if the version number has changed by a whole number.
If you have previously purchased SecurDesk!, SecurDesk! LV or FileWrangler 3.x and wish to obtain the current CD, please follow these steps:
- SecurDesk! versions 2.0 through 5.25: If you have sent in your Registration Card, simply send a request for the current version CD to the following address, along with $4.95 to cover materials and shipping. If you either did not receive or have not sent your Registration Card, you may obtain an upgrade CD by sending a copy of your sales receipt from an authorized CursorArts dealer and your serial number to:

This information will be matched with our records. - FileWrangler (32-bit version, 3.0 through 5.25): If you have sent in your Registration Card, either send a message to the Sales Dept. to see if an online upgrade is available, or send a request for the current version upgrade CD to the following address, along with $4.95 to cover materials and shipping. - your name (as it appears on the card),
- the card number,
- the card expiry date,
- and the billing address for the card (the address to which your card's invoice/statement is sent).
