Removing Red-Eye from Flash Pictures
You can use ImageForge PRO, ImageForge GOLD and ImageForge Master Edition to enhance and retouch photographs from your scanner or digital camera.
To easily remove red eye from photos...
- click twice on the Eraser tool on the tool bar;
- select the Channel Eraser (this tool can be used to erase only certain color channels in an image);
- On the tool options bar, go to the Channel option and select Red-Eye;
- choose a Brush size slightly smaller than the reddened iris;
- Click the tool over the red portion to remove the color.
Notes...
- Clicking on the Brush options in the tool bar and moving the Edge slider to give the brush a softer edge can result in a more natural appearance.
- If you wish to make the iris darker, click twice on the Retouch tool and choose the Darken brush.
- Basic Version users can remove red-eye using a soft brush with a dark grey color.
