Brush/Fill Styles

The Style dialog options allow you to create patterns and gradients, and set other tool characteristics. Click the Arrow button to select brush and fill options. Click the Circle button to return to the default settings.
Select a Pattern to use, if you wish the paint or fill to be patterned. You can select the shape of the brush in the Pen Tip section. You can create your own patterns by clicking on the yellow folder icon to select a pattern file other than the default file. Then click the Edit icon to modify the patterns.
You may also use Gradients for the Flood, Rectangle, Ellipse and Text tools. You can select colors for the gradients by clicking on the Arrow button next to the preview. Some gradients may also be rotated using the slider beneath the preview. In the Fill Method section, you may also specify whether shapes are drawn filled (with a pattern, color or gradient) by marking the Solid option. Use the Hollow option if you only wish the shape's outline to be painted.
