Editing Window: Main
Image

This tab gives you the main painting surface. Depending upon which tool is being used, various option settings may appear at the bottom of the editing window.

Use Color Similarity with tools such as Fill and the Select by Filling Scissors. This will cause the tool to affect a range of similar colors, rather than identically colored pixels. Adjust the Color Similarity bar to the right to broaden the range of colors. Move the Color Similarity bar to the left to affect fewer shades. The larger the range of colors, the longer the fill will take. Click on the red X to cancel a Fill which is in progress.

When drawing objects with Rectangle and Ellipse tools, you may use these options to determine whether the object is filled with a second color or pattern (enable the Object is Solid option), or whether the object is drawn only as an outline (use the Object is Hollow option).

If you create a shape using one of the 3D tools, additional controls will be displayed once you select the object by using the Arrow tool from the Tool Bar. The three icons on the left side allow you to rotate the object. You may change the size by either dragging the control points, or by using the nudge arrow pad on the Tool Options bar. Note that to distort an object, first rotate it, then increase/decrease its depth. The yellow folder icon allows you to choose an image to use as a texture for the object. Use the Candle Flame tool from the Tool Bar to change the lighting of the object. When you use a 3D tool on the Image Layer, the object will be placed into the image once you click onto a tool other than the Candle Flame or Arrow tools, and you will no longer be able to move them. If you wish to manipulate several 3D objects, draw them onto the Objects Layer instead, and then arrange them prior to merging them into the image.
