Acquire from Screen Capture
The Acquire from Screen Capture function under the File menu will import a snapshot of your screen, including the area lying beneath the ImageForge window. You can use this function to directly capture an image which is being displayed, but which has not already been saved as a file. There are several options for capturing material from your screen:
Capture Entire Desktop takes a snapshot of the entire screen which lies beneath the ImageForge window. You may then use the Scissors tool and Picture / Crop to trim this if you wish.
Capture Active Window will capture only the program window immediately under ImageForge.
Capture Window Object allows you to select an object (tool bar, etc.) from the screen. Point to the object you wish to import, then click.
Capture from Selection will allow you to choose an area to capture. Simply drag the mouse to surround the desired area.
