How To: Color Similarity

Some ImageForge tools give you the option of specifying Color Similarity. This means that similar colors are treated as a single color. E.g., when doing a normal Fill, all similar colors would be filled, not just the colors which were exactly the same shade as the selected pixel. Move the Color Similarity slider to the right to include more dissimilar colors. Move the Color Similarity slider to the left to include fewer colors.
Using similar colors can noticeably increase the time it takes to fill an area, particularly on large images where the area to be filled is complex. If you are using a slower system, and decide to stop the fill process before it has completed, click on the red X icon to halt the operation.
