How To: Remove an Unwanted Tinge
Some scans and photographs can have an unwanted tint resulting from artificial light, yellowing paper, etc. You can correct for this using the following steps...
1) Click twice on the Effects menu, and then Color;

2) Choose Gamma Correction from the list of filters;

3) Adjust the Red, Green and Blue sliders until the unwanted color is lessened ;
4) Once the color is to your liking, click Apply, and then OK to go back to the editing screen.

Tech Tip: To change the color in only a portion of the image, first use the Scissors tool to select the portion. Then click the Extract icon on the tool options bar before applying the Effects filter.
