Normal Text
The normal text tool allows you to insert text beginning at the point where you click the cursor. You can select the Object Is Solid option if you wish the second color to form a solid background behind the text. Use Object Is Hollow if you wish want the existing image as a background.
In the text tool options (see illustration above):
click the arrow button next to the icon to change the font and size. Click the Edit Text button on the right, to create wrapped paragraph text, or to import text from a file;
click the "A" edit icon to open a text editing window which allows you to import text, set a simple extrusion, set alignment and other options;
if you have enabled the extrusion opton, you can change the orientation of the background by clicking on the directional arrow icons on the right side.
Immediately after typing in your text, you can select it with the Arrow selector tool, and then drag it to another location or change its color or font.
