Brush Tool
The brush tool may be used to edit one pixel at a time, or dragged over an area to paint freehand. You may paint with both the left and right mouse buttons, each of which may be a different color.
Clicking a second time on the Brush tool will allow you to select from Natural Media tools (ImageForge PRO version only), such as oil paint, chalk, watercolor, etc. Using these in combination with various Brush tips from the tool options bar can produce effects ranging from airbrush, to pastels, to a coarse spray.

Click on Brush field in the Options Bar to change the size of the Brush. Simply type a new size into the field, or click on the arrow button to select custom brush tips, transparency, and other options. Gradient and pattern options are found under the Style menu. The Intensity slider controls the transparency of the paint, and the Fade slider allows your stroke to fade as it lengthens (slide all the way to the left if you do not wish the line to fade).
If you are painting with the Paint with Image tool, use the field on the Options Bar to select another image with which to paint. Depending on the ImageForge version, various custom brush tips (e.g., Soft and Neon) may also be accessed from the drop-down menu in the Options Bar.
