Text Tool
Use this tool to type text. Simply click the tool at the point where the text is to start, and begin typing. Use the Backspace key if you need to make corrections.
Once you have typed your text, you may drag it to a new location and/or change the color of the text by selecting a new color from the palette. If you need to change fonts, use the Font selector on the Tool Options Bar. Text color will be the color shown on left button of the Mouse Indicator. Once you click on another tool or onto another area of the image, the text will be placed and you will not be able to make further changes. Use the Undo function if the text is incorrect, or restore the original image using the Paint with Image brush tool.
If you wish to import text, or edit a block of text, click the Paragraph button.
